sunday makings

I spent most of the day outside in the garden moving plants around and repotting herbs.
Im all achy, but good achey not bad, and a bit sunburnt as well.
We have a rental inspection looming, (yes even though weve only been here three months!), so it was a perfect excuse to attack some neglected flower beds.

Ive been slowly uploading some extra little offerings when ive had the chance this week and above is the latest pair of boys slippers for market. These are from a vintage linen napkin.
Tomorrow ill have the beginnings of my orders for market to show you.
Just a few things, mind you, a challengingly diverse mix.

Can'tbeat the feeling of working in a garden although I would normally consider myself a sewing person too. Cherrie

such sweet little shoes...I love the re-purposed idea.

I too love the satisfaction of a good day's work in the garden - especially as everyone can see the results (unlike hidden indoor housework). The shoes are utterly adorable by the way!

I just had an epiphany... I have the most beautiful rectangle shaped cross-stitch table runner that I just don't know what to do with... it would be.perfect for slippers, I may bring it to market and commission some big girls slippers :-)
