100th blog post pin-cushion giveaway!

Hey! Everyone who feels like they just must have one more pin-cushion, Im having a giveaway to celebrate my getting to 100, mostly useless, silly ideas that are yet to come to fruition, never really helpful but might have made you laugh, sometimes to become Etsyed, things mostly on the backburner here at Textured Leaf Central.
If you liked this one that I made for Kates Pin-Cushion Swap then just leave a comment for me to read while Im taking a break and am off to renovate my mums house for the next week. Ill announce the winner next Monday!

P.S If you have a favourite colour Id like to know.

Talking to Kylie K the other day and she said you were the big inspiration behind all the other girls. I also think I met you and your hubby at Suzanna's in Bentleigh where my daughter used to rent a room and maybe up here at Deb's. Your blog is an inspiration and always enjoyable. Cherrie

Oh yeah pick me, please pick me. I would LOVE to win one of your gorgeous creations. That way I could have one that would live in the kitchen where I really do most of pinning while I'm cooking.
Happy 100, have fun at your Mum's and have a wonderful week. X

I have tried to make a pin cushion many times, unfortunately i was rather unsuccessful each time. Have a major problem of running out of pins cause i have no pin cushion. we should have a sewing day where you hold the baby and i get to sew. then i can finish my quilt and get your advice on how to make pants and pin cushions, love you heaps, keep up the amazing inspiration. <3

I'm in! Whilst we are all touting our reasons for worthiness of your gorgeous pin cushion, let me just say that because I have oodles of ambition but really, no sewing ability to speak of, your pin cushion would be adored. I'd whack it in the little shrine, in our house (was built by the former owner to honour his wife's passing) and light a couple of candles to seek crafty blessings so one day I too could become a crafty genius and make something so utterly gorgeous. Love green by the way - just in case I'm lucky enough!

Oh I miss you already. Happy 100 posts Wendy! I look forward to reading the next 100. Hip Hip hooray for the Textured Leaf!
And did you actually embroider that pin cushion? It's not just a lovely doily sewn into a pin cushion. For reals? You blow me away... I do have a favourite colour or two but if I was the lucky winner I'd be happy with anything that you created. Bless you Wendy, you're an inspiration.
p.s hope it all went well at your mums place! xx

No, alas I didnt embroider this! My embroidery hand is quite bad at the moment, (not much patience for this in fine weather you see). It is one of my favourite doileys that I was saving for something special and it is part of a set.
Havent even started at mums (havent even begun taking photos) because lots of people were in and out wishing her and new hubby well with the new abode!
Up and at em for tomorrow with lots of to-doings, x

So so beautiful. Love your pin cushion so much that I even had a "oh bummer!" moment when I saw that Gina was the lucky one.

thank you immensely for all the lovely words on my creation!

Oh. I'm actually relieved to hear that you didn't embroider it, I'd worry that you'd be so busy embroidering you wouldn't have time to blog, and then I'd get wendy withdrawals, which I think I am already suffering from. Hope all goes smoothly at your mums - hope to hear all about it when the chaos is over! much love xoxo

Okay. So youve joined blogger but you havent written your first post and maybe you dont intend to, but ive started to follow you as I had the 'option' when I looked up your profile page(there was a button called a widget). Its all a bit overwhelming at first but you can just press a different button each time you log on, which is what I did. You know, to find out what leads you where and so on. It took me months to feel comfy though but its kind of a nice challenge because everyone is so helpful. Kind of 'Ask And Ye Shall Recieve'.
So ...what will you write about first?
have fun :)
