3:34 tuesday

This is how we do afterschool time here. This was 3:34 Tuesday afternoon and counting...
he had already put on a suit and the formal is not for a week yet

around 5:23 the dressing up really began

so the evening was turning into a bit of an end of year formal wear preview

tries getting his hair to have a 1920's flavour

then he tried on a ski camp balaclava ala Textured Leaf Design

6:12 and it was back to the couch, and thermals

Wednesday 3:45 and back to thermals.

Maybe a foray into teenage thermals would bring some rewards
cos my guys seem to like wearing them everyday.

Sorry for the disjointed post if youve visited earlier today. I kept writing it in different tense as id started writing this post on tuesday and then only stuck it up last night. I think I have it right now.

saturday

I got up early as I really need to do some housework.

This is what happens when I sew for the day. Yep, I know that was Thursday.
Well it looks like I kept sewing Friday all day too, okay!

Maybe I should start with the bedroom.

I still havent got control of the market chaos in the studio since last weekend.

My sixteen year old has been re-building his skateboard on his bed.

Ive been ignoring the dishes all day.

This stuff belongs somewhere else

But ive just finished these right then, yay

while making five teenagers banana pancakes and blogging about my morning!

Happy Saturday y'all!

before and after: haircut

He wanted mug shots of before and after his haircut so ive snuck them on here for Blogtoberfest for a bit of fun.

Shhhhh..

Boy, does he look like his father here! Minus twenty years.

He'll want to see these next time I cut his hair because it. always. has. to. be. perfect.
'I want it like last time'
He holds the mirror and directs me while I cut kind of perfectionism. This is why going to the hairdressers is out of the question. He wouldnt have the control.

I even have to take shots while im cutting to let him view them before I cut too much off. Thats when I had the genius idea of showing you all. Payback.

He did the cutest thing while I was cutting. He made a little nest to show me. They are still little children on the inside even when they are trying to be so big and grown-up, arent they?

If you havent seen my pin-cushion giveaway its here!
